    Project overview

    This 508 km high-speed line is under construction in India. It comprises 12 stations, 21 km of tunnels and 350 km/h design speed. The line uses 2×25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, national ATC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is delivering the project, with L&T (Larsen & Toubro), Afcons Infrastructure and HSR JV (IRCON-AFCONS-JKIL) as main contractors. Under construction since 2017, the line is scheduled to open in 2028, with an investment of INR 14.0 bn (~USD 13.0 bn).
