Project overview
This 82 km high-speed line is being commissioned in India. It comprises 16 stations and 180 km/h design speed. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is delivering the project, with Alstom (rolling stock + signalling), L&T and Afcons as main contractors. It opened in 2023, with an investment of INR 300.0 bn (~USD 3.6 bn).
