Project overview
This INR 248.0 bn (~USD 3.0 bn) contract supplies new rolling stock for the Vande Bharat Sleeper (BEML-Stadler) programme in India. The fleet operates on national ATC signalling and 1676 mm Iberian broad gauge. Indian Railways and Ministry of Railways are delivering the project, with BEML Limited and Stadler Rail (technology partner) as main contractors. Investment is INR 248.0 bn (~USD 3.0 bn).
