Project overview

This signalling upgrade in India, deploying national ATC. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, national ATC signalling and 1676 mm Indian broad gauge. Indian Railways and Ministry of Railways are delivering the project, with Medha Servo Drives, HBL Power Systems and Kernex Microsystems as main contractors. Under construction since 2022, the line is scheduled to open in 2030, with an investment of INR 450.0 bn (~USD 5.4 bn).
