This AUD 1.7 bn (~USD 1.1 bn) contract supplies new rolling stock for the X'Trapolis 2.0 Order (Victoria — 50 trains) programme in Australia. The fleet operates on 1600 mm Iberian gauge. Department of Transport and Planning Victoria are delivering the project, with Alstom Australia (Ballarat North Workshops + Dandenong) as main contractor. It opened in 2026, with an investment of AUD 1.7 bn (~USD 1.1 bn).
