Project overview
This maintenance depot supports the Pakenham East Train Maintenance fleet in Australia. The line uses 1.5 kV DC overhead electrification and 1600 mm Iberian gauge. Rail Projects Victoria and Evolution Rail are delivering the project, with John Holland Group and Mott MacDonald as main contractors. It opened in 2019, with an investment of AUD 260 m (~USD 174 m).
