Project overview
This AUD 380 m (~USD 270 m) contract supplies new rolling stock for the Adelaide Metro A-City 4000-class EMU Fleet (Bombardier/Alstom) programme in Australia. The fleet operates on 1600 mm broad gauge. Department for Infrastructure and Transport (South Australia) are delivering the project, with Bombardier Transportation (now Alstom) as main contractor. It opened in 2014, with an investment of AUD 380 m (~USD 270 m).
