Project overview
This 1541 km high-speed line has been approved in Vietnam. It comprises 28 stations and 350 km/h design speed. The line uses 2×25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) and Ministry of Construction are delivering the project. It opened in 1936, with an investment of USD 67.0 bn.
