This 11.3 km metro line is under construction in Vietnam. It comprises 11 stations, 9.3 km of tunnels and 110 km/h design speed. The line uses CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Authority (MAUR) is delivering the project. Main construction broke ground on 15 January 2026; target opening is 2030, with an investment of USD 2.3 bn.
Construction began in 2015, with completion expected in 2030.
