Hanoi Metro Line 3 (Nhổn – Hà Nội Station)

Project overview

This 12.5 km metro line is under construction in Vietnam. It comprises 12 stations. The line uses 1.5 kV DC overhead electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board (MRB) is delivering the project, with Alstom (rolling stock + signalling), Colas Rail and Posco E&C as main contractors. Under construction since 2010, the line is scheduled to open in 2027, with an investment of USD 1.5 bn.
