Scope
Establishes comfort parameters, service conditions and type-test methods for air conditioning and heating systems in main-line passenger saloons and compartments, including single- and double-deck vehicles. It is the standard reference for specifying and verifying HVAC comfort performance in rolling-stock procurement, excluding suburban vehicles, metros, tramways and driving cabs.
