Project overview
This metro line is under construction in Uzbekistan. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification and 1520 mm Russian gauge. Tashkent Metropolitan (Toshkent Metropoliteni) and Uzbekistan Railways (UTY) are delivering the project. Under construction since 2021, the line is scheduled to open in 2030, with an investment of USD 1.2 bn.
