Thailand High Speed Rail Three Airports Link (Don Mueang – Suvarnabhumi – U-Tapao)

Project overview

This 220 km high-speed line is under construction in Thailand. It comprises 250 km/h design speed. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. State Railway of Thailand (SRT) and EEC Office are delivering the project, with Asia Era One (CP Group + Italian-Thai Development + Bouygues + China Railway Construction) as main contractor. Under construction since 2021, the line is scheduled to open in 2027, with an investment of THB 224.5 bn (~USD 6.6 bn).
