Project overview
This 22.7 km metro line is under construction in Taiwan. It comprises 23 stations. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Kaohsiung City Government Mass Rapid Transit Bureau is delivering the project, with CTCI Corporation as main contractor. Under construction since 2023, the line is scheduled to open in 2029, with an investment of TWD 152.3 bn (~USD 4.8 bn).
