Project overview
This 147 km commuter rail line is under construction in Philippines. It comprises 35 stations. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Department of Transportation Philippines (DOTr) and Philippine National Railways are delivering the project, with Sumitomo-Mitsubishi JV, Hyundai Rotem (rolling stock) and Mitsubishi-CAF (signalling) as main contractors. Under construction since 2021, the line is scheduled to open in 2032, with an investment of USD 14.0 bn.
