    Project overview

    Connecting the port of Genoa to the industrial hubs of Milan and Turin, this 53 km high-speed and high-capacity line features 37 km of complex tunneling. RFI is promoting the project to redirect freight from road to rail, utilizing ERTMS Level 2 signaling and 25kV AC electrification. The line is scheduled for full activation in 2027, promising to reduce travel times between Genoa and Milan by 33%.
