Rome Tram Togliatti (Ponte Mammolo–Subaugusta)

Project overview

Serving as a strategic orbital link, this 8 km tram line connects three of Rome's major metro lines between Ponte Mammolo and Subaugusta. Roma Capitale is investing €184 million in the project, which features 19 stops and energy-efficient bimodal trams. Construction began in 2024, with a goal to serve 42,000 daily passengers by the end of 2026.
