Milan Metro Line M4 (Blue Line)

Project overview

Known as the Blue Line, this 15 km fully automated driverless metro connects Linate Airport to the city center in just 12 minutes. The project represents an investment of over €2 billion and serves 21 stations across Milan's east-west axis. When fully operational, the line will transport 24,000 passengers per hour in each direction, significantly reducing road congestion and carbon emissions.
