Florence Tram Line T3 (Libertà–Bagno a Ripoli)

Project overview

Spanning 13.3 km across two functional lots, this tram project extends the Florence network to Bagno a Ripoli and Rovezzano. The €200 million first phase involves the construction of a new bridge over the Arno and a dedicated maintenance depot. The line will utilize hybrid bimodal vehicles equipped with both pantographs and batteries for flexible urban operation.
