    Project overview

    New North-South S-Bahn connection in Berlin linking the North Ring to the main station and Potsdamer Platz. The first section (Gesundbrunnen/Wedding–Hauptbahnhof) entered service June 15, 2026, initially operated as line S15 at a 10-minute frequency, increasing capacity on the heavily used North-South axis via a tunnel through the government district.
