Project overview
This USD 600 m contract supplies new rolling stock for the Tbilisi Metro and Modernisation programme in Georgia. The fleet operates on 1520 mm Russian gauge. Tbilisi Transport Company and Tbilisi Municipality are delivering the project, with Stadler Minsk and Tbilisi Transport Company as main contractors. Under construction since 1952, the line is scheduled to open in 2027, with an investment of USD 600 m.
