Project overview

Investing over €2.5 billion, Île-de-France Mobilités is replacing the entire fleet of one of Europe's busiest rail lines with 146 new MI20 trains. The renewal program includes the implementation of the innovative NExTEO signalling system to improve punctuality and manage 32 trains per hour in the central tunnel. First train deliveries are scheduled for 2025 to serve the line's one million daily passengers.
