Tramway Express de l'Ouest Lyonnais (TEOL)

Project overview

Creating a new "Express" tram link, this €800 million project includes a 2.9 km tunnel through Lyon's 5th arrondissement. SYTRAL Mobilités expects to open the route in 2032, connecting Alaï to Jean Macé in 25 minutes. The line features five new stations, two of which are underground, and will utilize 43m long trains to serve 55,000 daily passengers.
