Project overview
Originally designed as a massive €1.5 billion transformation to treble the station's size, this project aimed to accommodate 900,000 daily passengers by 2030. SNCF Gares & Connexions abandoned the initial partnership with Ceetrus in 2021 due to skyrocketing costs and technical delays. A revised, less ambitious modernization is now targeting the completion of key terminals by 2026.
