Project overview
Creating new direct links between the city center and the airport zone, this project utilizes existing infrastructure enhanced by €11.5 million in strategic upgrades. Bordeaux Métropole is installing new rail switches and replacing 1,500 ground power supply (APS) boxes to ensure network reliability. These improvements enable the launch of Line E in late 2025, providing high-frequency service every 10 minutes.
