    Project overview

    This contract supplies new rolling stock for the EFE Trenes Chile Intercity (Alstom Coradia + CAF) programme in Chile. The fleet operates on 1676 mm Indian broad gauge. EFE Chile and Trenes Metropolitanos are delivering the project, with Alstom and CAF as main contractors. Construction has been under way since 2023.
