Project overview

This 180 km commuter rail line is in procurement in Brazil. The line uses 3 kV DC overhead electrification and 1600 mm broad gauge. SP State Govt and SPI are delivering the project, with C2 Mobilidade (Comporte+CRRC) as main contractor. Target opening is 2031, with an investment of BRL 14.2 bn (~USD 2.8 bn).
