Project overview

This 363 km freight rail line is under construction in Brazil. The line uses diesel traction and 1600 mm broad gauge. INFRA S.A. and Vale (civil) are delivering the project, with Vale (civil) as main contractor. Under construction since 2015, the line is scheduled to open in 2028, with an investment of BRL 10.2 bn (~USD 2.0 bn).
