This commuter rail line is in procurement in Brazil. The line uses 3 kV DC overhead electrification and 1600 mm broad gauge. SP State and CPTM are delivering the project, with Trivia Trens (Comporte) as main contractor. Target opening is 2040, with an investment of BRL 14.3 bn (~USD 2.8 bn).
