Scope
The binding cross-border technical regulation governing the safety of newly built and modernised railway rolling stock across the 1520 mm-gauge Eurasian Economic Union / Customs Union space (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan) for vehicles up to 200 km/h. It is the functional equivalent of an EU TSI for this market -- mandatory for certifying and exporting locomotives, wagons, multiple units and specialised rolling stock into the bloc -- and is published on the Eurasian Economic Commission's official technical-regulation register.
