    Project overview

    This 170 km high-speed line is in feasibility stage in Australia. It comprises 320 km/h design speed. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. High Speed Rail Authority (HSRA) is delivering the project. Indicative opening is 2042, with an investment of AUD 660 m.
