This maintenance depot supports the Tren Maya Maintenances & fleet in Mexico. The line uses dual-system electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Fonatur and SEDENA are delivering the project, with Alstom Mexico and Bombardier Mexico as main contractors. It opened in 2023.
Construction began in 2021 and the project opened in 2023.
