Monterrey Metro Lines 4 & 6 Monorail (Metrorrey)

Project overview

This 25.1 km monorail line is under construction in Mexico. It comprises 22 stations. The line uses 1500 V DC third rail electrification and CBTC signalling. Nuevo León Sec Movilidad is delivering the project, with Mota-Engil México and CRRC Puzhen-Alstom (PATS) as main contractors. Under construction since 2022, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of MXN 25.9 bn (~USD 1.3 bn).
