This 24.7 km metro line entered service in Mexico. It comprises 20 stations. The line uses 1500 V DC overhead electrification, national ATC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. STC Metro CDMX is delivering the project, with Grupo Carso and CAF as main contractors. It opened in 2024, with an investment of MXN 4.5 bn (~USD 225 m).
Construction began in 2022 and the project opened in 2024.
