Mumbai Metro Lines 4 & 4A (Green Line)

Project overview

This 35.2 km metro line is under construction in India. It comprises 32 stations. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is delivering the project, with L&T, J.Kumar and Tata Projects as main contractors. Under construction since 2018, the line is scheduled to open in 2025, with an investment of INR 150.0 bn (~USD 1.8 bn).
