Mumbai Metro Line 9 Dahisar-Mira Bhayandar

Project overview

This 13.5 km metro line is under construction in India. It comprises 10 stations. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is delivering the project, with L&T and BEML as main contractors. Under construction since 2018, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of INR 68.1 bn (~USD 820 m).
