Mumbai Metro Line 6 (Pink Line) Swami Samarth Nagar-Vikhroli

Project overview

This 15.3 km metro line is under construction in India. It comprises 13 stations. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is delivering the project, with J.Kumar and CRRC Nanjing Puzhen as main contractors. Under construction since 2018, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of INR 64.7 bn (~USD 780 m).
