Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is delivering the project, with J.Kumar and CRRC Nanjing Puzhen as main contractors. Under construction since 2018, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of INR 64.7 bn (~USD 780 m).
