This AUD 4.4 bn (~USD 2.9 bn) contract supplies new rolling stock for the New Generation Rollingstock (NGR) – Queensland Rail programme in Australia. The fleet operates on 1067 mm Cape gauge. Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads are delivering the project, with Bombardier Transportation and QTECTIC consortium (Bombardier + John Laing + Aberdeen + Itochu) as main contractors.
