Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA) is delivering the project, with MELconnx Alliance (Laing O'Rourke + AECOM + WSP) as main contractor. It opened in 2024, with an investment of AUD 1.6 bn (~USD 1.1 bn).

Construction began in 2022 and the project opened in 2024.
