This AUD 2.9 bn (~USD 1.9 bn) contract supplies new rolling stock for the Mariyung New Intercity Fleet (NSW D set) programme in Australia. The fleet operates on 1435 mm standard gauge. Transport for NSW (NSW TrainLink and Sydney Trains) are delivering the project, with Hyundai Rotem, UGL Rail and Mitsubishi Electric as main contractors. It opened in 2024, with an investment of AUD 2.9 bn (~USD 1.9 bn).
