Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro Phase 2 is a metro project in India, currently operational.

This 28.25 km metro line is fully operational in India as of January 2026. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) delivered the project, with L&T, Afcons and Hitachi Rail STS as main contractors. The final section (Sachivalaya-Mahatma Mandir, 5.36 km, 5 stations) was inaugurated by PM Modi on 12 January 2026, completing the corridor; investment INR 56.4 bn (~USD 680 m).

Construction began in 2021 and the project opened in 2026.
