This signalling upgrade covers 870 km of track in Latvia, deploying ERTMS Level 2. The line uses 2×25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. RB Rail AS is delivering the project. Target opening is 2030.
Construction began in 2025, with completion expected in 2030.
