This 12.8 km metro line is under construction in Greece. It comprises 15 stations, 12.8 km of tunnels and 80 km/h design speed. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Attiko Metro S.A. is delivering the project, with Avax-Ghella-Alstom JV as main contractor. Under construction since 2021, the line is scheduled to open in 2032, with an investment of EUR 1.2 bn (~USD 1.3 bn).
Construction began in 2021, with completion expected in 2032.
