This contract supplies new rolling stock for the Bogotá Metro Línea 1 (CRRC Changchun) programme in Colombia. The fleet operates on CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Empresa Metro de Bogotá (EMB) is delivering the project, with CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles as main contractor. Under construction since 2020, the line is scheduled to open in 2028.
