Rhaetian Railway, founded in 1888 and headquartered in Chur, is the narrow-gauge Swiss alpine rail operator running the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Albula and Bernina lines, the Glacier Express, and the regional network of the Canton of Graubünden. Majority-owned by the Canton of Graubünden with a Swiss Confederation minority, it employs around 1,800 people across one of the most iconic mountain rail systems in the world.
