PGE Energetyka Kolejowa, founded in 2001 as PKP Energetyka and headquartered in Warsaw, is the Polish railway electrification and traction power-supply operator. Sold by PKP Group to CVC Capital Partners in 2015 and re-acquired by the Polish state via PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna for PLN 1.91 billion on 3 April 2023, it was renamed PGE Energetyka Kolejowa one day later. With around 4,000 employees, it operates a 20,000-km electricity distribution network for Polish rail.
