GVB Amsterdam, with operations dating from 1900 and the current Holding N.V. structure incorporated in 2006, is the wholly Municipality-of-Amsterdam-owned operator of the Amsterdam metro, tram, bus, and ferry networks. With around 5,000 employees and EUR 533 million in FY2022 consolidated revenue, it is one of the largest Dutch municipal transport operators alongside RET Rotterdam.
