Thailand–China High-Speed Railway Phase 1 (Bangkok – Nakhon Ratchasima) is a high speed rail project in Thailand, currently under construction.
This 253 km high-speed line is under construction in Thailand. It comprises 250 km/h design speed. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is delivering the project, with China Railway International (CRI), Italian-Thai Development and CH. Karnchang as main contractors. Under construction since 2017, the line is scheduled to open in 2030, with an investment of THB 179.4 bn (~USD 5.3 bn).
