Project overview
This 8.4 km metro line is under construction in Saudi Arabia. It comprises 5 stations and 7.1 km of tunnels. The line uses 1435 mm standard gauge. Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) is delivering the project, with Webuild, L&T and NESMA & Partners as main contractors. Under construction since 2025, the line is scheduled to open in 2031, with an investment of USD 900 m.
