This 91 km commuter rail line is under construction in New Zealand. The line uses dual-system electrification and 1067 mm Cape gauge. KiwiRail and Greater Wellington Regional Council are delivering the project. Under construction since 2021, the line is scheduled to open in 2028, with an investment of NZD 96 m (~USD 58 m).

Construction began in 2021, with completion expected in 2028.
